Duplicate Character Bug

When I logged in, there was a delay loading my existing character, so my character select screen appeared empty. I thought this meant the database had been wiped so I created a new character with the same name. This has caused a bunch of pretty funny bugs.When I log in, the character selection screen displays one of the two characters at random. It's either my level 1 character with no gear or my level 4 character wearing a helmet.When I select a character and load into the actual world... they're BOTH there. BOTH characters log in EVERY time. As I'm running around, both characters are running around. Combat is EXTREMELY messed up. Sometimes the wrong character uses the spell. Some spells never work. Sometimes I'm forbidden from entering combat at all. Sometimes the enemies randomly reset in the middle of the fight. Obviously this isn't a valid state for me to be in, so it's "expected" this might not work properly.
