First playthrough comments and suggestions

_Comments_ First, I think what you have here is amazing. It runs well, movement is smooth, combat is enjoyable even if still a bit clunky sometimes, game is responsive .. feels great man ! Ambiance is nice, music and bird sounds are amazing. Makes it a really relax and enjoyable place to go through. I also think the dev / feedback / bugfix / roadmap are a plus to the game. The speed you answered a performance issue, fixed and deployed it is crazy. You seem to know how to prioritize and organize the project, which is really good for the futur of it. _Suggestions_ Here are some suggestions I would like to share with you. I tried to think of suggestions that we could consider quick-wins / easy to add. The idea of my suggestion is to add some depth/verticality in some of the things that are already there which I think, may help stitch the feeling of the world and gameplay a bit more together, without going into specific gameplay or conception suggestions .*sounds* Something felt a bit off with me about how the character and world blend together and 2 things with sounds felt like missing for me. 1- Movement sound. Currently there is no sound whatsoever when moving around. The character felt a bit like a ghost in the world when exploring. I suggest something simple like : small footsteps, "chk chk" sound to imitate maybe the cape/equipement friction, a small "ugh" when jumping and/or a foilage sound when going through bigger bushes. 2- Hit sounds. In combat, there is an attack sound for the character and the mobs, but no hit sounds connecting both character fighting. I think a little hitsound / hitting flesh sound here and there would make it nice. *visual* I love the ambiance and enjoyed going through the whole map ( while getting my a** whooped in higher levels area lmao ). 2 other suggestions here that i felt like missing. 1- Considering all the elements right now, your ground feels alive. But I think your air/vertical space feels dead. Something like 2-3 simple particle systems here and there could add a lot of life to all of this. I suggest things like simple v shaped 2d butterfly particle system here and there spawning a couple butterflies around, wind particles, fire particles, maybe fireflies instead of butterflies during the night cycle when it comes backs.. 2- When starting the game, the first quest makes you interact with items to get your first weapon. I thought I would find a couple interactable objects but I didnt ( maybe there is more at the end and I just didnt reach them yet ? idk ). I suggest to add just a couple here and there in your world, even if its just for random items or futurely for new items you would add. Even finding 1 chest somewhere in your world would feel satisfying, just for the fact of finding it. *movement* I would love to be able to roll around to go wth the jump spamming while exploring :D maybe add a roll animation ? No need for funky dodge system or whatever, just rolling around would be great lol. I will keep trying the new updates and thank you for this experience !
