Party member couldn't hand in quest while in a group with us

Just wanted to confirm this happened with my group today. We had 3 players in a party and we all killed Nythera the Broodmother (spider boss). Only one player received credit for the quest completion and they were able to turn in the quest. They said they received no reward, not sure if that quest has a reward listed in the quest description or not.
