Professions

When you get to the point of adding professions, here's a suggestion if you'd take it into account. What I always disliked about it is that everyone can do anything in most games. For example, in WoW if you wanted to do jewelcrafting ofc you'd pair it with mining. Makes no sense to me honestly if you're a mage. A mage really doesn't look to me like someone who could mine ores, given their STR stat would be crap. I'd limit who can do which profession by tying profession to either stats or just plainly to a class. Just like not every race can be any class, same principle. Why? This would drive the economy and the need for some sort of cooperation - INT based players (mages, clerics) going for professions like jewelcrafting, enchanting, tailoring, etc, would need a miner to provide some materials (ores, rough gemstones, stones for runes, etc) and vice versa. In general to tie professions to a base stat with some overlapping, as in some AGI based classes would probably be ok with crafting some stuff that INT classes would make, but maybe could not specialize it the way these primary classes can. It's some rough idea I had, could be fleshed out a bit more, food for your thoughts. I have some more ideas about item "rarity" (or quality as I'd call it) and how it reflects on possibility to enchant these, if you're interested xD
