Quest list hit box is too large

I was trying to target a wolf, and clicked on it, but instead the information about a quest opened. The wolf was about 1 cm to the left of the text list (on the RH side of the screen) so evidently the "hit box" for the quest list is somewhat wider than the text itself. Since it is transparent, the hit box should be sized down to the actual width of the quest text, so you can target mobs which are close to the quest list on the screen.
