Currently you can suicide in the lava at the start of cinder ridge in order to teleport yourself to the respawn point on the other side. It's a bit of an exploit to skip travelling through the mobs.

I personally dont see any issues with death skips, but dying should give you some sort of combat penalty (like ressurection sickness in wow)
