Slaying Nythera does not complete quest
Sadly me and two others grinded a while in order to kill Nythera .But after killing it, neither of us had completed The Broodmother quest... We had the quest accepted while killing it. We all got the Blood Silk Cloak but the quest didn't complete.

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear the quest didn't give you all credit, I've since patched the issue and creature kills will now give credit to all eligible party members.
